Fostering Self-Esteem and Acceptance in Young Children

I’m Thumbody Special is designed to help children in Lake, Porter, Newton, and Jasper Counties develop a strong sense of self-worth and respect for others. Using the thumbprint as a symbol of uniqueness, the program teaches students to value individual differences and builds social-emotional skills that are essential for a positive school experience.

By focusing on self-acceptance, kindness, and anti-bullying strategies, I’m Thumbody Special helps students grow into confident, empathetic individuals who celebrate diversity.
